Course Descriptions
The recommended course option is the Basic Course - a six hour hour course - 99% of the 14,500 people we have certified have chosen the 6 hour basic and all have said they highly recommend this course, but we also offer 2 other course types for those with more experience.
Basic Boating Course
 | This course is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. |
| We cover all the required course material in an easy to understand way and give you examples of real life situations. |
| The exam is written in the last hour and we issue a temporary card on the spot. |
| Our 6 hour course is less cost than many of the other providers offering the PCOC courses. |
| We are the only course provider in Manitoba/North Western Ontario that offers the full 6 hour course delivering all of the 149 knowledge and task statements required by Canadian Coast Guard/Transport Canada. |
The ** normal fee is $60 per person until August 31, 2008 (Effective September 1, 2008 the fee increases to $70). We suggest that at least one manual per family be purchased at a cost of approximately $10 per manual. The manual can be used as a reference at a later date to refresh your memory. The fee includes the instruction, the test, and card issue fee for each person.

| You need 75% correct to pass. The test is 36 questions, multiple choice. |
Call us to schedule your Challenge exam date. We can write exams by appointment or often you can join in the last hour of many of our courses but you must make prior arrangements.
