Purchase a Manual
We use the Boating Safety Manual that was developed by the Canadian Yachting Association. It is an easy to read story-line suitable for all ages. It was awarded "Best New Boating Safety Product" by the Canadian Safe Boating Council.
Our manuals can be purchased at the following locations for approximately $10 plus taxes.

There are other accredited course manuals available from other sources. Some are quite good, others are not. If you have a manual make sure it states somewhere that it is Canadian Coast Guard accredited for the Pleasure Craft Operators Card.
NOTE: The free publication Safe Boating Guide produced by Fisheries and Oceans Canada Coast Guard does NOT cover all the course material that you will be tested on.
